Our partner #ICANHELP is recognizing students who are spreading positivity online and are asking for your nominations for their upcoming #Digital4Good event at Google offices in San Francisco.
#Digital4Good is a one-day event that brings students, social media companies, online safety experts and others together to “celebrate student voice and digital leadership in social media.” Nearly 200 attendees are expected at this year’s event, which will take place on September 17, 2018. The gathering will be live-streamed on Twitter.
“Our goal is to recognize and grow awareness of the great work students and schools are doing, as well as show that there is so much good happening in social media and bring it to light. The focus is always too much on the negative, and we have some amazing youth out there making a difference. We want students to inspire students to be digital leaders.” says #ICANHELP and #Digital4Good co-founder Matt Soeth.
#ICANHELP is working to delete negativity, and through this event, is spreading awareness and recognizing students who are using social media and other online tools for good.
